So What’s This All About Then?
We are super excited to be able to run our Parish Camp once again this year in 2025.

It’s a brilliant time to come together and get stuck into some fantastic activities and just relax (or just sit and put your feet up the whole time).

It doesn’t matter what age you are, how much faith you have or how much you do or don’t want to get stuck in with the activities. (Although we’ll ask you to try and ensure you come along to the worship sessions of camp, because well… it’s a Church camp and we’d love to worship with you!)

Throughout camp you can do whatever suits you, if you want to go offsite and come back later – go for it, if you want to run a game – go for it, if you just want to have a kick about with just you and a friend – go for it. The activities will be relaxed, and some aimed at children, some aimed at adults and some aimed at both!

You can join in if you want to, or you can chose to skip it and not do anything but sit and relax reading a book, listen to music, etc! The idea is the camp is a relaxed time for those attending.

How Can I Join In?
There are two options on how you can join us for the Parish Camp weekend. You can camp, in tents and we also have limited spaces for 8 caravans/camper vans onsite. Or you can join in for just a day (come every day if you’d like).
You’ll see a whole load of tickets to suit you. Early bird ticket sales finish on Monday 9th June 2025, then full ticket price will come into effect all the way until Monday 8th August 2025.

To book a ticket, just add the tickets you’d like, answer some booking questions and make payment online, or talk to Stefan Bracher using the details below to pay in cash (online is preferable). You can add serval tickets to your booking at same time, by clicking “Add Additional Ticket” at the bottom of the booking page.

What’s Included In Our Tickets?
Your food of 2-3 meals a day will be included in the cost of the camp (breakfast, lunch and dinner for campers, lunch and dinner for day visitors), along with tea, coffee, squash, biscuits and of course cake, lots of cake!! This will be prepared by the catering team in the industrial kitchen on site, where the eating marque is connected to. You can also feel free to bring some of your own additional snacks too!
All of the onsite activities will also be included in the cost of the camp.

The campsite has some lovely facilities such as toilet and shower blocks (both for male and female), as well as a disabled toilet/wet room shower (got to say the showers are lovely). There is also an office room where you can charge devices (if you are camping without power) where you can plug your device into and leave it to charge. There is usually an onsite trampoline for use, as well as various sports games to also make use of.
Of course your campsite fees are also included in the cost of the camp.

When Can We Set Up?
We’ll start by arriving on Saturday between 9am and 11am at the campsite, all tents/caravans need to be up and secured by 12noon. Then the chilling starts. Only coming for the day? Pop along anytime from 9am-11am and get yourself checked in and stick your feet up to relax, or people watch as they struggle to put up their tents (or even better feel free to help them out 😁).
From there we’ll gather together as one big group and we’ll eat lunch together, we’ll come together for all of our meals.

What Kind Of Activities Can We Expect?
We are still busy prepping all of the activities for this years camp, however last year we had several onsite activities to get stuck into for all age ranges, such as: campfires, band workshops, knit and natter, baking for kids workshop, craft workshops, inflatables, sports, film making workshop (you’ll need a mobile device with apps for this), Chiddingly Walk, water fight and so so much more!
Got an activity you would like to lead or think would be great for camp this year? Let us know, and we’ll see if it can be included in our activity list.

Adding Extras To My Booking
If you are planning to bring a caravan/camper van, book your normal tickets and add on the Caravan Space ticket. Please note we only have 8 spaces for this.
Require power for your tent? We have some spaces for that too. Book your normal tickets and add on the Power for Tents ticket. There are only 8 spaces for this.
Need a tent? The campsite have some which you can borrow. You can hire a large 8 man tent through the campsite at a cost of £30 for the weekend – there are only 4 of these.

Financial Support?
We really don’t want cost to be a reason why you cannot attend our camp. If you feel you will be an issue for you and/or your family, please do feel free to confidential contact Stefan Bracher using the contact details below to discuss the support which might be on offer.

Is This Camp Just For Children?
No, this camp is for the whole Church family… so anyone and everyone can join in, there will be activities for all. Please note children can only attend this camp if their responsible parent/carer is attending the camp too.

Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets on the campsite due to allergies, phobias and livestock in the field next to us.

Can I book in person or over the phone?

If you would rather book over the phone, please contact Stefan Bracher on 07506143476 or Kim Cuthbert on 07835267380. If you would rather book in person you can arrange to meet us in the Parish Office or after Church.
