Children came and joined us for the whole week of music, dramas, games, different crafts (including cooking) and snacks. There was points, messy games, hacksaw craft, flying dragons, catapults, the lot!
Throughout the whole of holiday club the children got points for amazing dancing, trying their hardest, remembering memory verses, being helpful and lots of other things too! We gave out prizes for all this hard work, with a winner for each year group on the Friday evening of holiday club, which we were delighted to see so many parents/carers at, finding out what the children have been getting up to! There was also some prizes for parents winners too on the Friday, some amazing dancing going on there parents! We also provided over 260 packed lunches! Best part was, it was all free!
Thank you to all of those who helped raise funds for holiday club this year and for those parents who offered a donation towards the cost of the week. Holiday club cost around £1,300 for the whole week of activities but the Churches aim here is to support parents and families with low cost and if possible free activities for children to participate in. Equally we help children and young people explore the Bible, so they can make an informed decision about what they believe. But with all of that we need a small army behind us and this year we had 39 volunteers who came on board and supported the running of that week, without them it simply would not happen.
We are busy now getting ready for next years holiday club… but we aren’t going to tell you anything about it, you’ll just have to wait and see! But the dates for next year are:

See you there!
