Come with me to the Holy Land!
Below you should find a Brochure, an Itinerary, a booking form, and something about travel insurance.
WHEN: Flying out on Tuesday 24th September 2024 and flying back on Friday October 4th.
HOW MUCH: £2859 – this includes everything, flights and all. It doesn’t cover lunch.
How do I say YES! : email me vicar@seafordparish.org and also mark@mibtravel.co.uk then when you’re ready send in the deposit £300. Final payment needs to be received by 24th July 2024.
Where are we going – have a read of the itinerary. I can print some more off. We will be going to Mount Carmel where Elijah prayed, to Nazareth, to Capernaum, onto the Sea of Galilee, to Caesarea Philippi, to Qumran, Masada, the Dead Sea, to Jerusalem, to Bethlehem and a whole bunch of other places.
FAQs – do email me with your questions because you wont be the last to ask them and I will update the blog accordingly. Eg:
- Is it dangerous: No. And if any particular place looks to be dangerous then we wont go there that day and go to another place. I’ve been out six times and its never happened.
- How fit do I need to be? I asked a tour guide this question and she said ‘If you can walk a couple of miles, you’ll be fine’. Mostly the coach drives up to where we are going so at no point will you ever actually walk a couple of miles but over the day it will add up.
- Passport: please check that doesn’t expire before April 2025.
- Travel Insurance. You’re going to need this but for some people their bank throws it in with their accounts. There’s a document below where you can get insurance from the people we’re travelling with if that would help.
- Can I have a single room? Yes but the supplement is £829. So my advice would be to ask a chum to share a room with you.
- How many of us are going? I need a minimum of 25. The max is 40.
